Omen: Original bassist Jody Henry has passed away

 He was not on the list.

The original bassist of the legendary American band Omen , Jody Henry , passed away on October 12. An official statement shared through Omen 's Facebook page said:

"I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but we've lost Jody, the original bassist on Omen's early albums. This is a post from his family. I'm deeply sorry to share this news with all of you. On Sunday night, Jody suffered a spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage. Although the doctors at OU Med did everything they could, the bleeding was severe, and Jody never regained consciousness. He will be honored tonight at 8 p.m. at OU Med Center in recognition of his act of organ donation. If you'd like to pay your last respects, he's in the neurological ICU."

Jody recorded the first four Omen albums : “Battle Cry” (1984), “Warning of Danger” (1985), “The Curse” (1986) and “Escape to Nowhere” (1988).
