Jack Jessop was born on July 2, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada as Jack Arthur Jessop. He was an actor, known for Tommy Boy (1995), Loser (2000) and Down to Earth (2001) and Sue Thomas F.B. Eye with Deanne Bray and Yannick Bisson. He died on November 17, 2018 in Newmarket, Ontario.

Jessop’s career spans 30 years and includes a guest starring role in the pilot/first episode of the TV series “Doc,” which was created by “Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye” creators Dave Alan Johnson and Gary R. Johnson.

Among Jessop’s many credits: the TV series “Due South,” “Twice in a Lifetime,” “Avonlea” and “Street Legal;” the TV movies or mini-series “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Storm of the Century,” “Laughter on the 23rd Floor” and “The Sons of Mistletoe;” and feature films “Tommy Boy,” “Moonlight and Valentino” and “Down To Earth.”
