Seven-Time ‘Jeopardy!’ Champion Courtney Shah Dies At 52

Courtney Shah, the seven time Jeopardy! winner who went on to compete in the show’s Tournament of Champions, died at home on Tuesday after a battle with brain cancer. That, according to local radio station, KLOG, which cited confirmation from the college where Shah taught. She was 52.
Shah was best-known for her seven-game run on the show in
2021 during which she amassed a war chest of $118,558. The next year, she was a
contestant in its Tournament of Champions, where she made it to the
quarterfinals before being eliminated.
Shah taught U.S. and World History at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington.
A service celebrating Shah’s life will be held August 10, from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Rose Center for the Arts on the college’s campus.
