Luke 'The Dingo' Trembath

Snowboarding Star Dead At 38

He was not on the list.

Sad news in the snowboarding community ... Australian star Luke "The Dingo" Trembath has tragically passed away at the age of 38.

His cause of death is not known at this time.

Word of the loss spread on social media Thursday night ... with countless friends and loved ones sharing heartbreaking reactions.

Holly Madison called the situation "So hard!"

"This is rough but I’m terrified for so many people I know who you meant so much to," she said. "I want to say 'rest easy' but I hope you are busy and laughing wherever you are."

Five-time X Games medalist Jaie Toohey called Dingo "One of the most incredible person I've ever met with the biggest heart."

"We shared some pretty amazing memories together throughout all the years we have known each other and those I will hold onto forever."

The Monster Energy athlete first started competing in snowboarding at the age of nine, according to a sit-down interview he did in 2020. He became nationally recognized by age 11 and two years later, he was traveling with Team Australian to events around the world.

After hanging the board up, he stayed active in the community, hosting a podcast called "Unleashed Podcast" for the Monster Brand.

Trembath rose to fame on the TV show 'The Adventures of Danny and The Dingo' alongside fellow snowboarder Danny Kass and tributes have poured in following the news of his death. Singer Avril Lavigne said: "You have always lifted up your friends and we will continue to feel your light when we talk about you.

"Thank you for some of the best times, the best laughs and now the best memories. We love you for ever and ever." Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk wrote: "Words cannot describe the joy this guy brought to every gathering.

"His laughter was magically contagious, and he revered our culture because he was shaped by it. Thank you Dingo for being The Great Connector in our fragmented world. We were lucky to have you. The void you leave behind cannot be filled."

Trembath also hosted a podcast with UFC ring girl Brittney Palmer, who posted a touching tribute on social media. "I know I need to say something about Dingo, but honestly, losing him feels unreal," Palmer wrote.

"I'm in Palm Springs with my best friend trying to escape the pain, but Dingo was the heart and soul of everything good. I'll miss him forever. Please, tell your loved ones how much they mean to you. Dingo always knew how I felt - he touched so many lives. I miss you already, my friend. My heart is broken. Love you all."

Trembath began competing as a snowboarder at the age of nine and turned professional when he was 17. After retiring from the spot, Trembath was an ambassador for Monster Energy.
