Diamond of ‘Diamond and Silk’ Passes Away
She was not on the list.
From Todd Starnes - BREAKING NEWS: Lynette Hardaway, known by millions of conservatives as ‘Diamond,’ has died.
“The world just lost a true angel and warrior patriot for freedom, love and humanity,” read a message posted on the Diamond and Silk Twitter page. “Please respect the privacy of Diamond’s family.”
Diamond and Silk were regulars on my national radio show for the past three years. I grew to love these two ladies like they were family. There was always lots of laughter and joy on my show when they appeared.
And we always found a way to steer the conversation back to our shared Southern heritage.
Former President Trump was among those expressing sorrow in her sudden passing.
“Really bad news for Republicans and frankly all Americans,” Trump wrote. “Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk has just passed away at her home in the state she loved so much – North Carolina.”
There’s no word on the cause of death, but several weeks ago Silk posted a cryptic message urging immediate prayers for her sister.
“Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing,” Trump wrote. “There was no better team anywhere, or at any time.”
Trump said Diamond’s death was “totally unexpected.”
“Probably her big and precious heart just plain gave out,” he wrote. “Rest in peace our magnificent Diamond, you will be great missed.”
But I hope you know that Diamond was a sister in the Lord and tonight she is with her Savior.

President Trump announced to the nation tonight that Lynette Hardaway, known by conservatives as ‘Diamond’ of ‘Diamond and Silk,’ had passed away.
He memorialized the beloved conservative icon on Truth Social.
Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina.

Diamond, and her sister, Rochelle Richardson, earned national acclaim for their unwavering support of the former president and their ability to trigger liberals from coast to coast.
Hardaway’s cause of death has not been revealed, but weeks ago the family posted an urgent call for prayer on social media.
The duo received media attention during the 2016 presidential campaign of Trump and again in April 2018 when Facebook notified them they were "unsafe to the community." In response, they publicly complained that Facebook blocked and censored their Facebook page. On April 26, 2018, at Rep. Steve King's invitation they testified in front of Congress about their removal from the community. Subsequently, Republican members of Congress brought up the two women's censorship claims at Mark Zuckerberg's testimony before U.S. Congress. In April 2020, the two were terminated from Fox News for questioning the legitimacy of COVID-19 data
