Robert James Doran
He was not on the list.
He was the busiest actor you never knew, unless you read all the credits in those shows and movies. You certainly knew the many famous actors he worked with. Jesse Doran aka Robert James Doran passed away on 2/17/2022 from complications due to Covid-19. He was a generous personality who ventured in and out of movies, theater, and the lives of many dear friends and family during his life. He was an actor, athlete, musician, and carpenter with skills aplenty. Over the course of his careers Jesse-Bob traversed the country from North Carolina to New York to California and back and finally to Florida to help care for his aging parents, the late Bob & Ann Doran. No Hollywood ending for him, but certainly a life worthy of a script or two. So brief a mark after so bright a flame.
Jesse leaves behind 2 sons and their families: Andy Doran married to Dawn Doran with daughter Julianna Doran and son Joshua Doran; Gabe Doran married to Beth Benjamin Doran with sons Lex Doran and Max Doran. He is also survived by two brothers: Fredrick E. Doran and Jeffrey S. Doran. There will be a small memorial for close friends and family at St. James Episcopal Church in Ormond Beach on May 14, 2022.
