Tributes paid as former River City star Brian Cowan dies age 58
The actor died of natural causes at his home in Falkirk.
He was not on the list.
Former River City actor Brian Cowan has died at the age of 58.
The actor, who played Murray Crozier in the BBC soap is believed to have died of natural causes.
Police confirmed his body was found on Saturday at his home in Falkirk.
A spokesman told The Scottish Sun: “There are no suspicious circumstances and the fiscal has been informed.”
Tributes were paid by Martin McCardie, series producer of River City, who said: “We’re deeply saddened to hear of Brian’s passing. He was a valued member of the family.”
Brian left acting in 2014 to become a celebrant.
He starred in Taggart from 1993 to 2005 as DCS Brian Holmes, the partner of Blythe Duff’s character DS Jackie Reid.
