Tandra Quinn was born on March 27, 1931 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was an actress, known for Mesa of Lost Women (1953), The Neanderthal Man (1953) and Problem Girls (1953). She was married to Herbert Smithson. She died on October 21, 2016 in Panama City Beach, Florida, USA.

 

Trivia

Interested in mining, she moved to Arizona, then to Texas to work for a gold mining associate.

Of part Romanian ancestry.

Unsuccessfully auditioned for 'National Velvet' (losing to Elizabeth Taylor ) and 'Captain from Castile' (losing to Jean Peters).

Interviewed in Tom Weaver's book "I Talked with a Zombie" (McFarland & Co., 2008).

In August 1933 was chosen the "Perfect Baby of America" at a Los Angeles baby show.

In 1933 was almost fatally burned in a heater accident at her parents' home.

Enrolled in the Grace Bowman School of Drama and Dance at the age of ten and screen tested at 20th Century Fox two years later.

As of 2007, she was living in Denton, TX.
