Our Beloved George "Teddy" Odom, born August 21, 1950, in Bronx, New York to the parents of Furman Odom and Mary Ruth Brown.
He had two brothers James Odom and Furman Odom, Jr., that preceded him in death. George was a loving person, who reverence God, a creative and talented actor and script writer, as well as a Wonderful Man. His ability to make people laugh and feel loved, made his personality magnetic. To know George was to Love Him.
George Odom is survived by his sister, Doris Odom; his
children Lisa Odom and David Odom; his grandson Aaron Westscott, a host of
aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He leaves to us memories of
encouragement, laughter, togetherness and joy. We, his family are his Legacy.
George T. Odom died on September 21, 2016, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, at the age of 66.
Funeral service will be Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Greater Providence Baptist Church, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
