Paul Walker Dies
Jordana Brewster, the on-screen love interest of the late Paul Walker, expressed her disbelief of the actors sudden death.
Brewster played Mia Toretto in the "Fast & Furious" movie franchise and during the series married and eventually had a baby with Brian O'Conner, played by Walker.
"Paul was pure light. I cannot believe he is gone," the actress wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
There has been an outpouring of support from fans all over the globe after news of his passing was posted to his social media accounts.
"It's with a heavy heart that we must confirm Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident...MORE," read a tweet posted through his verified Twitter account at 9:14 p.m. Saturday.
It also directed the star's nearly 900,000 Twitter followers to a fuller comment on his Facebook account issued to nearly six million fans.
"It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide," noted the post.
Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Toretto in the "Fast & Furious" series, posted an image of the pair on Instagram and wrote: "Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in Peace."
Production on the upcoming blockbuster, which began filming in September, is expected to be delayed. The next installment in the franchise, "Fast & Furious 7," is still in production and is due out next July.
Walker's co-stars have now been reported to be "too distraught" to return to work on the movie this week in the wake of his death.
"No one wants to even think about the movie. Period," one source told TMZ.
