Jack Vincent Fogarty obit

Jack V. Fogarty

OCTOBER 20, 1928 – MAY 20, 2023

He was not on the list.

Jack Vincent Fogarty, age 94, of Los Angeles, California passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023. Jack was born in Los Angeles, California. His parents were John Timothy Fogarty (Ohio) and Helen “Honey” Olsen Fogarty(Michigan).

Beloved husband to Jo Anne (Lillie) of 55 years, father to Julia (Mark Waterman) and John (Houri Keldjian), and grandfather to Mary, Bailey, James, Ben, Sam and Andrew.

Jack was a WWII Marine, an Eagle Scout, a UCLA Bruin alum and lifetime fan, a writer/producer of many television shows, (“Rookies”, “TJ Hooker”, “Charlie’s Angels”, “Barnaby Jones”, “The Equalizer”, “A Man Called Sloan”, “Jake and the Fatman” )

A long time member of Bel Air Church and an ordained Deacon, Jack was a God-fearing man who loved Jesus with all his heart. He taught The Bethel Bible Series for 20 years with his wife and son John. By the grace of God, he raised his children and grandchildren to also believe in Jesus, His birth, death and resurrection.

Jack wrote, “I had a grand span on earth. From Jo Anne to Julia and John, to Mary, Bailey, James, Ben, Sam and Andrew. With Jesus all the way, I drank-deep His blessings every day.”

“I fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the Righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7,8

Rest in peace darling, until we meet again,

“We love you with all our heart and always will. “

A graveside service for Jack will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518.
