He was not on the list.
Trevor Strnad, lead vocalist of the death metal band The Black Dahlia Murder, has died. He was 41.
The band announced Strnad's death in an Instagram post from their official account on Wednesday.
"It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad," the post read. "Beloved son, brother, and Shepard of good times, he was loved by all that met him. A walking encyclopedia of all things music."
A cause of death was not given. The band concluded the post with the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
The Black Dahlia Murder was formed in Waterford, Michigan, by Strnad, guitarists Brian Eschbach and Jon Kemppainen, bassist David Lock and drummer Cory Grady in 2002, when they released "A Cold-Blooded Epitaph" EP.
They released their debut studio album "Unhallowed" in 2003, followed by eight more.
The band went on to open for fellow death metal band Children of Bodom "on festival stages across the United States and Europe" following the success of their fourth album "Deflorate" in 2009, according to AllMusic.
Strnad's last album with the band, "Verminous," was released in April 2020.
"He was a hugger, a writer, and truly one of the world’s greatest entertainers," the band's post concluded. "His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells and horror and whimsy. It was his life to be your show."
