Bodybuilding star Cedric McMillan dies at 44.
Cedric McMillan, One of bodybuilding’s most loved athletes, passed away at the young age of 44.
The news of Cedric‘s death has left the entire industry speechless. The industry lost not only an incredible athlete, but a great friend.
The cause of death is still not confirmed, but it is alleged the cause of death was die to a heart attack.
In the last couple of years, Cedric was absent from competitive bodybuilding due to a number of injuries and health complications.
Cedric earned his pro status in 2009, when he won the overall NPC National Championships.
Cedric presented not only a physique with beautiful aesthetics, but he had the size to go with it. Many predicted that he would eventually dominate the sport of bodybuilding.
A regular top five finisher, Cedric unfortunately should have had more victories to his name.
To many people, Cedric had the perfect physique, but he never dieted to the point where he was crazy ripped or vascular.
Cedric’s most memorable victory was when he won the Arnold Classic in 2017. His speech with Arnold Schwarzenegger will go down in history as the best ever.
Arnold Schwarzenegger himself called Cedric “The One”.
Cedric McMillan was also a Staff Sergeant and an instructor at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.
Friend and fellow competitor Steve Kuclo left a heartfelt message immediately after finding out about Cedric’s death.
“Very sadden to hear the news of the passing of an awesome person, family man, hero and bodybuilder Cedric McMillan . I’ve been competing with Cedric for over 10 years and always had the best times back stage and photoshoots together. He loved life and the sport he poured his life into. Rest In Peace brother!” – Steve Kuclo
