'19 Kids and Counting' matriarch 'Grandma' Mary Duggar dies

She was not on the list.

The Duggar family is mourning the loss of "Grandma" Mary Duggar.

Jill Duggar Dillard, the fourth of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's 19 children, revealed news of the matriarch’s death on Instagram Sunday in a touching tribute.

"My grandma died suddenly today," she captioned a picture of Mary posing with her two great grandchildren, Dillard's sons Israel, 4, and Samuel, 1. "My heart breaks."

Dillard didn't reveal her grandmother's cause of death, but remembered her as a "feisty" and an "amazing woman of God."

"Grandma, you are greatly missed by all who knew you! " Dillard wrote. "I know she was ready to check outta here and get her new body in heaven before the old one started giving her too much trouble!"

The Duggars memorialized their family's matriarch on their official Facebook page Sunday, writing, "She is greatly loved and will be missed so very much!"

"We are so sad to share that Grandma Duggar (Mary) passed away Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2019," the post began. "She lived a tremendous life as a follower of Christ, a wife, a devoted mother, a loving mother-in-law, and a much-loved grandmother."

The post concluded: "We deeply appreciate your prayers for our family and all who loved Mary during this time."

"Grandma" Mary, who worked as a real estate broker, frequently appeared alongside her family on the TLC shows "19 Kids & Counting" and "Counting On." She's survived by son Jim Bob and daughter Deanna, 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with several more on the way.

Most recently, Jessa and Ben Seewald welcomed their third child, daughter Ivy Jane Seewald, at their Arkansas home on May 26. Ivy marked "Grandma" Mary's 13th great-grandchild.
