He was not on the list.
Lou "Louie" Elias (21 November 1933 – 13 December 2017; age 84) was an actor and stuntman who performed stunts for Star Trek: The Original Series. He also appeared in acting roles in several episodes. His only credited appearance, however, was in "And the Children Shall Lead", as an Enterprise technician. Elias was the brother of Trek hair stylist Carolyn L. Elias and actor James Stacy.
He filmed his scenes for "Dagger of the Mind" on Friday 12 August 1966 at Desilu Stage 10. He filmed his scene for "And the Children Shall Lead" on Thursday 27 June 1968, his scene for "Is There in Truth No Beauty?" on Wednesday 24 July 1968, and his scene for "The Tholian Web" on Monday 12 August 1968, all three at Stage 9. He filmed his scenes for "The Cloud Minders" on Wednesday 13 November 1968 at Stage 10.
In addition to Star Trek, Elias made several appearances on Combat! and Charlie's Angels. Additional television credits include Batman, Gunsmoke, M*A*S*H, Hill Street Blues, The Fall Guy, Knight Rider, The Incredible Hulk, and L.A. Law, as well as the 1978 mini-series How the West Was Won (co-starring William Shatner, William Boyett, Robert DoQui, Fionnula Flanagan, Richard Hale, Brian Keith, Ricardo Montalban, George D. Wallace, Morgan Woodward, and Harris Yulin). He also appeared in films such as Elvis Presley's Tickle Me (1965), Posse (1975), Night Moves (1975),The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, and Solar Crisis, and performed stunts for films like Spartacus, True Grit, The Wild Bunch, The Longest Yard, Flashdance, and Dick Tracy.
A natural athlete, Burbank, California-bred Louie Nicholas Elias Jr. excelled in sports, especially football (US) and rugby. At UCLA, he played for the Bruins football team at the Rose Bowl under esteemed coach Red Sanders (UCLA's football coach from 1949-57). He played professionally in the Canadian Football League. He briefly joined the ROTC to avoid the draft, did reserve camp, and hated it. After college, he played professional football until knee injuries caused him to be cut from the team.
He returned to Hollywood, beginning as a film extra, working his way into a bit part movie actor. His first movie stunt job on Universal Studios' Spartacus (1960) earned him his first stunt injury when actor Kirk Douglas drowned him a soup cauldron and gave him a cut to his chin and a scar for life.
By 2000, he had more than 150 film and film TV series credits to his name. Among so many other action scenes, "Action Louie" had jumped from the tower of "F-Troop", had fought his way out of 'The Wild Bunch", had raced into "Vanishing Point," and taken the brunt on behalf of so many chiseled-featured actors. He also wrote screenplays, and later became a commercial actor.
Elias died on 13 December 2017 at the age of 84.
