David Spielberg obit

Actor David Spielberg is dead

He was not on the list.

He will be remembered for often playing police detectives or doctors. Raised by his father after his mother's death, David aspired to become an entertainer from an early age. After a decade's worth of stage experience in New York City, Spielberg moved to California and launched his association with television. His first break was when he was cast as 'Deputy D.A. Vernon Wahlburg' in the series "The Bold Ones: The Lawyers" (1971 to 1972). He followed this with the role of 'Ted Henderson' in the short-lived "Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice" (1973). He will perhaps be best remembered for playing 'Dr. David Bradford' (Danny Thomas' son) in the series "The Practice" (1977). Among his film credits include "Newman's Law" (1974), "Law and Disorder" (1974), "Hustle" (1975) and "Winter Kills" (1979). He had a recurring role as 'Dr. Neil Bernstein' in the TV series "ER" (1995).

David Spielberg was born on March 6, 1939 in Weslaco, Texas, USA. He is known for his work on Christine (1983), Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987) and The American Girls (1978). He was married to Janie Glassman Tutelman and Barbara Gladstone. He died on June 1, 2016 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
