Bill Fletcher was born on December 20, 1922 in Columbus, Ohio, USA. He was an actor, known for The Devil's Brigade (1968), 5 Card Stud (1968) and Black Sheep Squadron (1976). He died on December 17, 2015.
Bill Flecther made a guest appearance on the M*A*S*H TV series as Major Vinny Pratt, a US Army Intelligence officer and old friend of Trapper, who arrives in camp to check on rumored security leaks, as he's also there to snoop on fellow intelligence office Colonel Sam Flagg, who's also checking the camp for a security breach in "A Smattering of Intelligence", the final episode of Season 2 (episode #24).
With a career in both TV and films spanning back to the
early 1950s, Bill made appearances on many TV shows, which include M*A*S*H,
Shane, Daniel Boone, The Invaders, Alias Smith and Jones, Ironside, Mannix,
SWAT, Wonder Woman, Baretta, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Dukes of
Hazzard.
His film roles include Joe Hurley in the western film 5 Card
Stud (1968) and Private Bronc Guthrie in The Devil's Brigade (1968).
