Peacefully passed away on September 2, 2015 in Toronto at the age of 86 with his beloved wife Judith by his side.

Son of the late Charles and Magdalene, son-in-law of Florence, brother of Madge (predeceased) and her husband Bill. Brother-in-law to Raphael and Jill, Zena and the late Bernie. Adored by children: Rob and Deb and their children Virginia, Nicholas and Tess; Marlene and the late Chris and their sons Robert and Richard; Ian and Andrea and their sons Zachary and Troy; Mara and her daughter, Layla. Stan will be missed by many nephews, nieces, extended family members and friends.

Stan was a Singer, Actor, Poet, Artist, Racconteur, Brick Layer, Stone Mason and Carpenter... a true Rennaissance Man.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles).

He was a Scottish actor, singer and painter who was best known for his role as the menacing villain Jim in David Winning's first feature film Storm.

Kane spent several years performing on the Canadian musical series The Pig and Whistle. He married Canadian singer and teacher and longtime companion Judith Lebane Kane on 5 November 1989. On 2 September 2015, he died in Toronto at the age of 86.

Kane was born on May 11, 1929 in St. Andrews, Scotland, UK. He was an actor, known for Storm (1985), Mania: The Intruder (1986) and The Pig and Whistle (1967). He was married to Lebane, Judith. He died on September 2, 2015 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
