 He was not on the list.

Mario Tosi, 86, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida passed away on 11/11/2021. He was surrounded by his two children and their mother. Mario was born and raised in Rome, Italy before deciding to move to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in film. He was a very special man that enjoyed being a cinematographer, an artist, sailing and diving around the world, eating pasta and parmesan, and being a proud father to Christopher and Valentina. He shared his knowledge and success in his unique style which always had a profound effect on everyone around him. His love will not be forgotten. We miss you so much more each day that goes by. Ciao for now. We love you.

Tosi's works include The Killing Kind (1973), Report to the Commissioner (1975), Carrie (1976), and Sybil (1976), for which he was nominated for an Emmy. Tosi was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2009 Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.

 

We will be holding a service for friends and family on December 5th, 2021.
