Actor. He was often cast in roles of soldiers or villains. Born to parents of Japanese descent, along with his family, he was sent to the Tule Lake Relocation Camp following the United States' entry into World War II. Later during the war, he enlisted with the United States Army. He marked his motion picture debut with a minor role in the Hitchcock classic film "North by Northwest" (1959) and experienced a more substantial part as 'Private Pete Komo' in the Raoul Walsh picture "Marines, Lets Go" (1961). He may perhaps be best remembered for playing a doomed soldier in the "Godzilla" like film "Varan the Unbelievable" (1962). He became familiar to American TV audiences for his villainous roles in the programs "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "I Spy" and "The Wild, Wild West." After leaving the entertainment industry, he worked for many years with the Southern California Flower Market.
Hideo Inamura was born on 26 July 1926 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He was an actor, known for I Spy (1965), Varan the Unbelievable (1962) and The Wild Wild West (1965). He was married to Takako (Taxie). He died on 27 April 2015 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
