PINO, Herbert J. Age 65, of Kettering, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Herbert served in the U.S. Navy for 13 years. He was a member of the band The Outlaws. He played guitar and sang vocals. Herbert is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Doris Pino; children, Dachai Chantanasombut, James Chantanasombut, Diane Chantanasombut, Mandy Pino and Dawn Pino; grandchildren, Vincent, Dachai and Kai; mother, Dinora Robey; step-father, Robert Robey; sisters, Amy, Linda and Kathy; and many other relatives and friends. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel.
The Outlaws is an American Southern rock band from Tampa, Florida. They are best known for their 1975 hit "There Goes Another Love Song" and extended guitar jam "Green Grass and High Tides" from their 1975 debut album, plus their 1980 cover of the Stan Jones classic "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky".
