With the Giants, he was a member of the personnel staff for three Super Bowl championship teams.
Hulmes joined the Giants in 1984 as an assistant to then-general manager George Young. He later became a special assistant to the general manager, but left that post in 1998, becoming a player personnel scout. He retired following the 2008 season.
