Disney Pixar Screenwriter Daniel Gerson Dies Aged 49
He was not on the list.
Daniel Gerson, the screenwriter of ‘Big Hero 6′, ‘Monsters
Inc’, and many other Pixar films, died on Saturday aged 49.
According to Variety, the writer had been battling brain
cancer.
Gerson and his regular co-writer Robert L. Baird were
responsible for writing 2014′s ‘Big Hero 6′ for Disney as well and both
‘Monsters Inc’ films for Pixar.
They also contributed to ‘Inside Out’, ‘Up’, and ‘Chicken
Little’. The duo have reportedly written a script for Pixar’s ‘Cars 3′ which is
due for release in 2017.
He’s survived by his wife and two children.
