Award-Winners Credits Include Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's "It's Your Love"

Sherman Halsey, an award-winning music video director and producer, was found dead on Tuesday (Oct. 29) at a home in Nashville where he was staying. He was 56. Foul play is not suspected, according to the industry publication Music Row.
Halsey won an ACM Award for his work on Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's glamorous video, "It's Your Love." Halsey and McGraw worked closely together for many years, teaming up for fan favorites like "Indian Outlaw," "Live Like You Were Dying" and "One of Those Nights."
In 2005, Halsey accepted a CMT Music Award on McGraw's behalf for "Live Like You Were Dying" in the category of most inspiring video. He also directed many of McGraw's NBC concert specials.
Additional video credits include Brooks & Dunn's "Hard Workin' Man," Alan Jackson's "Tall Tall Trees" and Taylor Swift's "Fearless."
Halsey received his first ACM nomination for Dwight Yoakam's 1987 video, "Little Sister." On Wednesday, Yoakam posted a Twitter message saying, "In fond memory of Sherman Halsey. He was a gentleman and a friend. "
Halsey's father, music industry veteran Jim Halsey, is The Oak Ridge Boys' manager. The band also posted a Twitter message on Wednesday: "We have lost a longtime friend, associate, brother and son! Sherman Halsey has gone home! Rest easy Sherm! We all love you! Pray 4 Jim!"
Merle Haggard posted a Twitter message on Wednesday, as well, noting, "The death of our friend Sherman Halsey is a shock to me and my whole family. He will be missed deeply."
