Frederick K.C. Price, Founder Of Crenshaw Christian Center, Dies At 89 From COVID

He was not on the list.

Frederick K.C. Price, a well-known local pastor and the founder of the Crenshaw Christian Center, died from COVID-19 Friday at the age of 89.

Price’s son Frederick K. Price announced the death in a Facebook post saying that his father “has gone to be with the Lord this evening. We accept his decision to go as he got a glimpse of glory a couple of weeks ago.”

The family of televangelist Frederick K.C. Price had a few days ago requested for prayer as he battled COVID-19. COVID-19 left him with a ravaged heart, lungs and kidneys.

According to reports the 89-year-old pastor alongside his wife, Dr. Betty Price had tested positive for coronavirus over the holidays. He has been in a Los Angeles area hospital battling COVID-19.

The news of his death was announced to the public by his family via his Facebook page. They took to the social media to announce that the Minister of God has passed on.

Please allow us some time to process all of this. He fought the good fight of faith and laid hold of eternal life. The Price Family posted.

They released the prayer request via all the Crenshaw Christian Center East (CSS East) Social Media accounts.

Today, I am calling on all members and friends of Crenshaw Christian Center New York and on everyone everywhere who has been touched by the teaching of Apostle Frederick K.C. Price to join in a worldwide prayer for the Apostle as he faces the health challenges posed by Covid 19. Specifically, we need to pray for the complete restoration of Apostle’s lungs, heart and kidneys and any other parts of his body that are now under attack as he remains in the hospital.

This morning in prayer, I called on Father God to remember His faithful son and servant, Frederick K.C. Price and the beacon of light and truth in teaching the Word that Apostle has been to the body of Christ and to the world. I said that our church family, the Body of Christ and the world need Apostle Price more than ever to remain with us as that true beacon of the Father’s Word and example of integrity and truth the world needs so badly now; the prayer request reads.

Who Is Frederick Price?

Frederick K.C Price is founder and former apostle of Crenshaw Christian Center (CCC), headquartered in South Los Angeles, California. The Televangelist born on January 3, 1932, was known for his Ever Increasing Faith ministries broadcast, which is aired weekly on both television and radio.

Fred alongside his wife, Betty established the Crenshaw Christian Center in Inglewood, California in 1970 with about 300 members. Following the massive growth of the church, it was forced to hold two services from 1982.
