Gordon Oas-Heim was born on September 16, 1926 in Caribou, Minnesota, USA. He was an actor, known for Color Me Blood Red (1965), Bad (1977) and Quincy M.E. (1976). He died on June 5, 2015 in Woodland Hills, California, USA.


He was nominated for a 1974 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Clifford Odets' play, "Awake and Sing" at the Academy Festival Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.

(1971) Was in the ensemble in the stage adaptation of Brendan Behan's memoir "Borstal Boy," directed by Eugene O'Sullivan at the Academy Playhouse (later Academy Festival Theatre) in Lake Forest, IL. Others in the cast were Mark Lamos, Danny Sewell, James D. O'Reilly, Gary Houston, Gary Koppel, Will Cleary, Terry Lomax, Paul Jott, Douglas Mellor, Pauline Brailsford, Neil Hunt, Jim Fay, Guy Barile and William Norris.

Born on a kitchen table in the wilderness of Caribou, Minn. at the homestead of his parents, John and Emilia Oas-Heim on Sept. 16, 1926, he left home at the age of 17 to pursue a career in acting, appearing in over 150 plays, films and TV as well as producing/directing 37 productions including "Room Service," which won "Best Production Award" in Chicago.

Gordon died on June 5, 2015 at the Motion Picture Assisted Living in Woodland Hills. He was married to his loving wife, Bonnie for 22 years and is survived by his son, Michael and wife Janine; and his grandchildren, Michael Kinne, Zachary Michael and Sara Jane. Gordon was proud to be a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 41 years; he loved being sober and especially loved his life with his beloved wife, Bonnie.
