Peter Eastman Has Died

Peter Eastman (21 September 1919 – 28 July 2013; age 93) was an actor who appeared as a Hotel Royale staffer in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Royale".
Eastman was born in London, England to American parents who were theatrical performers; they returned to the US with him in 1923, where after, he grew up in Springfield, Illinois. Eastman was married to his wife Barbara until her death in 1999. Between 1987 and 1992, he was president of the Screen Extras Guild (SEG).
Eastman worked as background actor from the 1960s until 1995. Among the countless television series he worked on are episodes of Petticoat Junction (1967), The Invaders (1968, with Barry Atwater, Troy Melton, and Mark Russell), Mayberry R.F.D.
