Actor Donald Symington has died

On July 24, 2013, Donald Leith Symington, of Baltimore, husband of Leslie Paul Symington for 58 years; father of Leslie Leith Symington, Betty Welsh Symington, and Margaret Fife Symington; brother of Arabella Leith Symington Griswold and the late J. Fife Symington, Jr., Nancy Symington Perin, and Frank Hambleton Symington; grandfather of Anna Helene Symington Hansen, Ada Hopkins Sonnenfeld, Arthur Wilmot Sonnenfeld, Frank Hambleton Sonnenfeld, and Isabelle Emma Symington Sharon. Also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 4 PM at St. James Episcopal Church in Monkton, Maryland. Inurnment St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Baltimore School for the Arts Foundation, 712 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.

He appeared in such movies and television shows as Annie Hall (as Annie Hall's father), Spring Break, and Fantasy Island.
