Actress. She was born as Susan Valerie Walden in Tallahassee, Florida, on August 20, 1956. She was educated locally and attended J.M. Tate High School in Cantonment, Florida, where she was a Majorette, a Member of the Junior National Honor Society, and Vice-President of her Sophomore Class. Following her high school education, she attended Troy University in Troy, Alabama. After graduating from university, she lived in both Pensacola, Florida, and Los Angeles, California, while pursuing an acting career. She made her film debut in the role of a student in director Jerry Thorpe's television horror film, "The Possessed" in 1977. She then played the role of 'Linda Larken' on the long-running television soap opera "The Young And The Restless" in 1978. Throughout the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s in a career that would last over twenty years, she would have many guest-starring roles in several films and television series. Besides, "The Possessed" (1977), her other film credits include, "The San Pedro Bums" (1977), "Winter Kills" (1979), "The Best Place To Be" (1979), "Deep Dark Secrets" (1987), and "Taking Back My Life: The Nancy Ziegenmeyer Story" (1992). She is perhaps best remembered to television audiences for her role as helicopter pilot 'J.L. Duval' in 109 episodes of the Canadian adventure television series, "Danger Bay" from 1985 to 1990. She was nominated for a Gemini Award for Best Performance by a Lead Actress in a Continuing Dramatic Series for "Danger Bay" in 1986. Her many television credits also include a guest-starring role of sex therapist 'Dr. Doreen McMillan' in the episode entitled, "Hearing Is Believing," on the classic situation comedy "Three's Company," "Little Women," "The Contender," "Number 96," "Romance Theatre," "The Dukes Of Hazzard," "T.J. Hooker," "Hotel," "Half Nelson," "Hill Street Blues," "Fathers And Sons," "Code Of Vengeance," "The Magical World Of Disney," "MacGyver," Midnight Caller," and "Matlock." Her last appearance was in an episode of the television comedy series, "Titus" in 2001. She passed away at her home in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 63, three days before what would have been her 64th birthday. Following her death, she was cremated and her ashes were given to her family members. She never married or had any children.
